사붓사붓 하이얀 저고리

시린 달빛 타고 점점이 명멸하듯

Flickering like the moonlight

 

한 무더기 하얀 꽃바람 분다

White flowers come like the wind

 

찔레꽃 향기가 너무 슬퍼서

The scent of brier flowers is so sad

 

목 놓아 울던 그가 온다

He who wept sadly comes

 

뭉텅 잘려나간 기억의

실타래가 풀리듯

As if the forgotten memories come to life

 

태평소 피리 해금 모듬북

일시에 자지러진다

Taepyeongso, Flute, Haegeum, Drum

It resonates all at once

 

오월의 어느 하늘을 맴돌다 길 찾아 나선

Wander through the sky in may,

find the way

 

홀씨도 아닌 것 하나 숨어들어와

When something that is not spores comes in,

 

욕심껏 빈 방 가득 점령하고서

지휘봉의 너스레에 파도를 타듯
